There is nothing as rewarding for me as helping another trombonist clear away the roadblocks impeding their progress.  My 20 years as a professional musician is built on a foundation set by the many fine teachers who guided me, and I take great pride in being able to pass along these teachings to the next generation of musicians.  I have had the privilege of giving masterclasses in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and teaching several summers at the Third Coast Trombone Retreat.  Many former students are enjoying professional careers in music, and others have continued their studies at The Juilliard School, Northwestern University, and Rice University, among others.

If you are interested in studying with me, please consider the following options:
At Carnegie Mellon University, we are able to provide competitive financial packages to graduate students and those in post-graduate certificate programs.  In addition to lessons, students will have close interaction with the other outstanding faculty members, many of whom are also members of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
